“At a definite period of its history, Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew, spoke to and moved among Jews in Israel. It is absolutely necessary to view His life and teaching in all the surroundings of place, society, popular life, intellectual and religious development. This perspective forms not only the frame on which to set the picture of the Christ but the very background of the picture itself.”
- Dr. Alfred Edersheim: The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah (Paraphrased)
The basis of the study will be the four Gospel accounts of the Messiah’s life. These records of the Messiah’s life, speech, and actions will be studied simultaneously and harmonized into one continuous, chronological story. As a result, it is recommended for each student to use the textbook, A Harmony of the Gospels: NASB Version by Thomas and Gundry, in addition to the notes provided. Similar harmonies already owned by the student can be used. The Harmony of the Gospels textbook is available through retail stores and websites. We have ordered a limited quantity of these textbooks and will offer them at our cost of $15. When you register, please indicate that you want this book so we will have one for you while supplies last.
The Jewish Life of the Messiah is a class of approximately 32 sessions that will present a thorough look at Jesus the Messiah through the eyes of His First Century, Jewish contemporaries. New students are welcome and encouraged to join at any time during its presentation.
Your life will be changed forever as you drink in the glory of God, witness the magnificence of His Messiah, and examine His life and ministry from this important and unique point-of-view.

Whether we happen to be new believers or those who have walked with the Lord for many years, our Heavenly Father has given us the joy and privilege of praying to Him. However, we all seem to struggle with this gift of prayer, often treating prayer less as a privilege to enjoy and more as a chore to neglect. When we do pray, distractions can easily crowd our minds, and our requests can become more about what we want than about what God wants. No wonder, then, that God would feel so distant when we pray.
So where should our focus be when we pray, and what should we ask for? This class will seek to recapture the joy and privilege of God-centered prayer, using Jesus’ own teaching on prayer as our inspiration and guide. As we explore the amazing depth of Jesus’ teaching on prayer, we’ll see how incorporating His teaching into how we pray will draw us nearer to the very heart of God and His glory. Be ready to dig deeply into God’s Word and see our lives transformed to be more like Christ as we learn to pray God’s way and for God’s glory. In this class, we’ll see how God invites us, through His Word, into an intimacy with Himself that goes beyond all that we can ask or think.
Are you ready to draw near to the heart of God through prayer? Are you ready to be on fire for the glory of God? Are you ready to leave behind mediocre and selfish prayers and rise up as a prayer warrior for the Kingdom of God? Then join us on Wednesday night, where we’ll have Jesus Himself be our teacher through His Word.

This class focuses on Hebrew fundamentals, learning the aleph-bet (the Hebrew Alphabet), learning basic vocabulary, grammar and sentence structure. You will learn to read short paragraphs geared toward your level of skill and passages from the bible in Hebrew. Since Modern Hebrew is printed without vowels, you will be quickly acclimated to printed Hebrew without vowels so that you will be able to be proficient. The students also present dialogues on a regular basis to encourage development of their verbal skills.
In addition, you will watch films about Israel, and Israeli culture. Holidays are incorporated into the lectures, including discussions about the history of the holidays, songs sung during the holidays and foods eaten during the holidays.
Your understanding of the Bible will deepen as you read and understand the original language God used to bring His revelation to man. Your appreciation for and comprehension of the Jewish people and the modern State of Israel will expand and be illuminated as you study this miraculously preserved language.

Why do you believe what you believe? What evidence or reasons can you show to validate your worldview? How do you know what you believe is true? Apologetics is the study that shows how and why the Christian faith is grounded in truth through reasons and evidences which bring down the walls of unbelief, skepticism, and uncertainty.
As Christians we should have compelling and grounded answers for our own intellectual integrity as well as sharing with non-believers. Here is an opportunity for you to know how Christianity is grounded in history, science, philosophy, and reality. Learn the truth claims of Christianity and how you can be intellectually justified. We will discuss how the philosophical underpinnings of the Christian faith make sense and are compelling for the rational person.
The class is meant for the Christian and non-Christian who hopes to deepen his understanding of why and how Christians believe the things they do. Topics include biblical, scientific, philosophical, theological, experiential, and cultural apologetics. The class will benefit all who are seeking, struggling, or even skeptical. It will especially benefit those with teenage children who will be subjected to the pervasive pluralistic worldviews in a secular and postmodern culture.
Apologetics allows direct access to Jesus by removing intellectual barriers. Learn how Christianity corresponds with reality better than any other worldview or set of beliefs.

The Bible is clear about our relationship to the Jewish people. As early as Genesis 12, God makes a covenant with the Jewish people through Abraham. God’s “foreign policy” as it comes to Israel is clear when He says: “I will bless him who blesses you and I will curse them who curse you”.
The best way to bless the Jewish people is by giving them the gift of the Gospel. But we must realize that sharing our faith with Jewish people requires different approaches and methods.
The “Jewish Outreach Class” is designed to equip believers to share with their Jewish friends and family members in a sensitive yet non-compromising way. Topics for this 10 session class will include:
