O U R  N A M E

HaDavar is a Hebrew term meaning "The Word." This term is found in our guiding verse, John 1:1a - " In the beginning was The Word" (in Hebrew - Bereshit haya HaDavar).

The self-existent, creative, life-giving Word of God revealed Himself to man by becoming flesh in Jesus of Nazareth (John 1:14). Today the written Word of God is the foundation for all evangelism and discipleship; thus the basis for this ministry is HaDavar, the Word of God.

O U R  V I S I O N

The vision of HaDavar Messianic Ministries is to glorify God and contribute to the Body of the Messiah by teaching the Bible from a Jewish perspective. This will promote personal growth as well as facilitate outreach to the Jewish community and to all of Orange County, California.

We want to encourage the Body of Messiah in Orange County to get excited about the Word of God and to be stimulated by the Jewish background that permeates the entire Bible. The Jewish perspective complements Biblical studies by adding depth and color to the Bible's timeless message.

O U R  G O A L S

As God leads and provides, HaDavar Messianic Ministries will develop a Messianic Center that will be the source of:

1. A Bible studies program available to every Believer* desiring to study the Bible from a Jewish perspective.
2. A Jewish studies program available to every Believer* desiring studies in Jewish culture,language, history, and literature.
3. A research library/bookstore available to every Believer* desiring quality resources for Christian and Judaic Bible study, including culture, language, history, and literature.
4. Evangelism programs that give practical opportunities and information on how to reach the Jewish community for Messiah Jesus.
5. Networking and communication between ministries, churches, and Messianic congregations that support HaDavar's goals.
6. Discipleship literature produced or distributed by HaDavar that will generate personal spiritual growth.

God uses the faithful witness and ministry of Believers in their day-to-day lives to win Jewish people to Himself. There are not enough career missionaries available to do the work alone. HaDavar Messianic Ministries exists for the people of God.

HaDavar Messianic Ministries will encourage, equip, support and motivate Believers to grow spiritually and continue to impact the dense Jewish community of Orange County and the surrounding world for Jesus the Messiah.
